On this day in 1947, in Yankee Stadium, New York, more than 58,000 fans gathered together to honor one of the greatest players of baseball history—Babe Ruth—The Great Bambino.
On this day, April 27th, we pay tribute to the man in celebration of Babe Ruth Day.
